Underground Production Suspended At Elura Mine

Pasminco today announced that ore production at the Elura Mine had been temporarily suspended to enable the investigation of Monday`s fatality to be completed as soon as possible. It is expected that one week`s production will be lost as a result, with production to recommence on Monday 8 March.

The investigation follows the tragic death of David Kittel, an underground miner, who was caught by a fall of ground early on Monday morning this week.
