Production Maintained During Industrial Action

Industrial action relating to Enterprise Agreement negotiations at Pasminco’s Port Pirie smelter resulted in a 48 hour strike by operating employees which began yesterday. Work is expected to resume tomorrow, Friday 14 May at 7:00am. Enterprise Agreement discussions are scheduled to continue next Tuesday 18 May in Adelaide.

Management staff at Pasminco’s Port Pirie Smelter are maintaining normal production.
