ANNUAL RESULTS DEFERRED

Pasminco Chief Executive, Greig Gailey announced today that the company had deferred the release of its annual results to Wednesday 12 September 2001.

“The results have been deferred to allow the Board time to complete its review of the balance sheet, following on from the strategic review of the company’s position at the end of the financial year which culminated in the restructuring announcement made on 20 July 2001,” he said.

The company had previously advised its results would be released on 29 August 2001.
